Guru is a PhD researcher at Hexis Lab. He has recently graduated in Microbiology from Teesside University. He worked as a research associate at National Horizons Centre (NHC), Darlington on the development of probiotic bacterial strain with THYME project. He also worked at NHS in association with NTH solutions on testing a novel cleaning solution for reducing hospital acquired infections (HAIs). His current research focuses on creating platform cell factories to produce non-toxic and sustainable high-quality products using synthetic biotechnology for both cosmetic and biopharmaceutical industries.
